The restoration and operation of the theatre is the result of a community effort. Dozens of volunteers have given their time and their money to make the theatre a reality. But there is still much work to be done, as well as the need to maintain the theatre’s operation.
At a time when our society is consumed by worries about the economy and the war, the performing arts can offer an oasis of sanity. But the performing arts can thrive only if there is a venue dedicated to their performance. The Soper-Reese Community Theatre is a rare and unique resource that provides such a venue. It deserves and needs the support of the community.
