Jim and Florence Soper, who donated the initial funds for the purchase of the Soper-Reese Community Theatre, held a party for 130 friends of the community in the fall of 2007 to stimulate interest in the project.

Clearly everyone had a good time. There was a string quartet and a popular music group, dinner and dancing. Some of the guests, volunteers, and the hosts are pictured below. Click on a picture to view a larger version.
